Mount St Michael TY Workshops
In 2023, we had the pleasure of working with the Transition Year Students in Mount St Michael in Rosscarbery, Co Cork. The Flux team gave three workshops on podcast creation. Our curriculum focused on:-
Podcast research and podcasting equipment
Management of live recording
Publication and promotion of podcasts.
The Transition Year group were split into smaller groups where they each decided on the type of podcast, their topic, roles for group members along with picking a podcast name. After some important research, their appointed sound engineer guided them through a live recording session before learning the basics in audio editing. Each group then designed and created their own podcast cover. The fruits of their labour can be listened to on Mount St Michael TY Podcasts.
